About First Voice
A shared effort to elevate the voice behind every emergency.
First Voice is a collaborative initiative created to bring recognition, support, and awareness to 9-1-1 telecommunicators — the first point of contact in every emergency.

Built in partnership with Gold Line Support and the 911 Chaplain Initiative, First Voice combines recognition, wellness, and peer support to strengthen the profession nationwide.

Through regional events, national storytelling, and media initiatives — including the development of a First Voice television platform — this effort is designed to travel across the country, ensuring telecommunicators in every community have the opportunity to be seen, supported, and recognized for the critical role they serve.

More than an event, First Voice is a growing national movement focused on changing how the profession is viewed, supported, and understood — both within public safety and by the communities it serves.
